工作坊介绍:游戏地图设计是一项有趣而具有挑战性的项目,本赛组旨在让更多大学生有机会参与到《元梦之星》游戏项目研发的实践中,并实现自己的目标和想法。
- 创意玩法突破:能够不受现有玩法机制束缚进行新的探索,或者在原有成熟玩法框架上尝试新的思路或组合。
- 优秀叙事表达/动画演绎:讲述了令人印象深刻的故事,在叙事技巧上彰显创意,且叙事能较好地跟玩法、视觉等其他部分有机结合。
- 多人互动游戏:具备优秀的多人游玩乐趣,通过对合作或竞技规则的巧妙设计,给玩家带来源源不断的新鲜感。
- 高复玩价值:通过优秀的玩法循环,让游戏具备极强的重复游玩价值,即便在游玩数十个小时后,依然能获得新乐趣。

成果交付 参考:在《元梦之星》星世界-造梦空间内完成创作后发布地图并选择蓝色话题#元梦NCDA;同时在网站上提交1份游戏地图策划案PPT、3-5张游戏地图截图、1段地图游玩介绍视频,图片类统一为JPG格式,单张图片文件大小不超过5M并提供设计说明(不超过200字);视频类统一为mp4格式,单份视频文件大小不超过500M。

●作品选题:选题需新颖,地图主题鲜明,独创优质主题,无同类型地图借鉴,且主题立意有创意或传播度
●场景设计:符合以下所有条件,场景设计优秀
○场景设计独特且精美
○场景结构设计合理,无冗余建造,场景高度适配玩法
●音乐配置:音乐适配,音乐节奏速度与玩法氛围搭配
●玩法完整性:
○地图流程完整,内容量足够支撑玩家重复持续游玩
○地图有直观明显的终点,游戏过程中游玩方向路径明确
○不存在影响游戏的重大卡点或bug
●玩法创新性:
○地图玩法新颖,在平台内少有或暂不存在
○玩法可玩性高,能够适配多人游玩
●游戏流畅度:游戏难度适中,玩法提示明确,且详略得当,存档点设置合理且优先级设置正确,销毁区域足够多,能够充分利用场景、色彩、音乐等信息而非全靠文字对玩家进行指引,绝大部分玩家能够顺利按照设计完成游戏流程
●地图包装:
○封面色彩搭配美观大方
○封面有明确主体,封面内包含物品清晰可见
○地图名称与玩法相关且简洁,有一定的传播度
工作坊目标:
理解"元梦之星"这一派对游戏的游戏项目理念,将游戏玩家的需求置于核心位置,基于元梦之星强大的编辑器工具,以创作高复玩性的、多人互动的游戏地图,或是强故事的RPG解密的游戏动画,亦或是基于游戏内容的高质量插画创作为目标。基于"元梦之星",探讨如何优化相关游戏地图空间设计、游戏绘画创作,创造更具复玩性、故事性、多人互动的派对游戏。
工作坊预期成果:
1. 使用元梦之星强大的编辑器工具,设计出高质量、玩法性独特、叙事性优秀、多人互动性强、复玩性高的星世界地图。

This workshop is jointly launched by the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and Tencent Tianmei Studio Group under the guidance of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and Tencent Tianmei Studio Group. This workshop is dedicated to providing an innovative and efficient learning platform for students who love game design, helping students master the core knowledge and skills of party game design, especially in map design, and cultivating creative thinking and teamwork skills.

‘Star of Yuanmeng’ game introduction
‘Star of Yuanmeng’ is a “genuine family party game” developed by Tencent Tianmei Studio. It was launched on all platforms on December 15, 2023. The game is embedded with rich and easy-to-use multiplayer casual competitive gameplay. In the first month of its launch, it for 28 days in a row on the iOS free download chart. Here, players can also become game producers and use powerful editor tools to design their own star world maps. Within 100 days of the game's launch, the number of registered players exceeded 100 million, and the total number of UGC content designed by players has exceeded 30 million.

Workshop Group: In-game Map Creation & Design
Workshop Introduction: Game map design is an interesting and challenging project, this competition group aims to let more college students have the opportunity to participate in the practice of the development of the game project of Yuanmengxing and realize their goals and ideas.
Creative direction suggestion: more inclined to create based on the following four directions
- Creative gameplay breakthroughs: able to conduct new explorations without being bound by the existing gameplay mechanism, or try new ideas or combinations on the original mature gameplay framework.
- Excellent narrative expression/animation interpretation: tells an impressive story, shows creativity in narrative skills, and the narrative can be well integrated with other parts of the gameplay and visuals.
- Interactive multiplayer gameplay: excellent multiplayer fun, through the clever design of cooperative or competitive rules, bring players a constant sense of freshness.
- High replay value: Through excellent gameplay loop, the game has strong replay value, even after dozens of hours of play, you can still get new fun.

- Beijing Axis: On July 27, 2024, the 46th World Heritage General Assembly of UNESCO adopted a resolution to put “Beijing Axis - a masterpiece of China's ideal urban order” on the World Heritage List. “The Beijing Central Axis, which runs through the north and south of Beijing's old city, was first built in the 13th century and formed in the 16th century, and has since evolved to form today's 7.8-kilometer-long city axis, the longest in the world. The 15 heritage elements of the “Beijing Central Axis” are: the Bell and Drum Tower, the Wanning Bridge, Jingshan, the Forbidden City, the Duanmen Gate, Tiananmen Square, the Outer Jinshui Bridge, the Imperial Palace, the Temple, the altar of the Gods of Jigui, Tiananmen Square and its architectural ensemble (Tiananmen Square, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, the National Museum, and the Great Hall of the People), the Zhengyangmen Gate, and the southern section of the road remnant, Temple of Heaven, Xiannongtan and Yongdingmen, with a heritage area of 589 hectares and a buffer zone of 4,542 hectares.

- Intangible Cultural Heritage & Urban Cultural Tourism: Paper-cutting, Gong Lanterns, Paper Kites ...... All kinds of Chinese intangible cultural heritage have their own charm, which are worth to be understood by the creators and restored to the game;
- Functional game: Since the explosion of “Black Myth: Wukong”, games are becoming more and more a tool for education and enjoyment, in addition to its entertainment properties; try to awaken people's attention to the topics of cultural tourism, culture, and social welfare through the game design of “Yuanmeng Star”;
Delivery of results Reference: After completing the creation of the map in the star world of “Yuanmeng Zhixing”, publish the map and select the blue topic #Yuanmeng NCDA; at the same time, submit 1 PPT of the game map plan, 3-5 screenshots of the game map, 1 video of the map play introduction on the website, and the pictures should be uniformly in JPG format, and the size of a single picture should not be more than 5M. Picture file size is uniformly in JPG format, with a single file size of no more than 5M and design description (no more than 200 words); video class is uniformly in mp4 format, with a single video file size of no more than 500M.
Outstanding Maps Selection Criteria
Selection of topic: The topic should be novel, the map should have a clear theme, original and high-quality theme, no maps of the same type, and the theme should be creative or communicative.
Scenario design: Excellent scenario design if all of the following conditions are met
○Unique and exquisite scene design
Reasonable scene structure design, no redundant construction, and the scene is highly adapted to the gameplay.
○Music configuration: suitable music, music tempo matching the atmosphere of gameplay
Completeness of gameplay:
The flow of the map is complete, and the amount of content is sufficient to support players' repeated and continuous play.
○The map has an intuitive and obvious end point, and the direction of play during the game is clear.
There are no major stuck points or bugs affecting the game.
Innovative gameplay:
○The map gameplay is innovative, rarely found or not available in the platform.
The gameplay is highly playable and can be adapted to multi-player.
Smoothness of gameplay: the game is moderately difficult, the gameplay hints are clear and appropriately detailed, the archive points are reasonably set and correctly prioritized, there are enough destruction zones to make full use of information such as scenes, colors, and music instead of relying on text to guide players, and most players can complete the game flow smoothly according to the design.
The map package:
○The color scheme of the cover is beautiful and generous.
○The cover has a clear subject, and the items included in the cover are clearly visible.
○The map name is relevant to the gameplay and concise, with a certain degree of communication.
Workshop Objectives
Understand the game project concept of “Yuanmeng Xing”, put the needs of gamers at the core of the game, and based on Yuanmeng Xing's powerful editor tools, aim to create highly replayable and interactive game maps, strong storytelling RPG game animations, or high-quality illustrations based on the game's content. Based on “Yuanmeng Xing”, we will discuss how to optimize the design of game map space and game painting to create more replayable, storytelling and interactive party games.
Expected outcomes of the workshop
1. Use the powerful editor tool of MetaDreamStar to design a high-quality star world map with unique gameplay, excellent narrative, strong multiplayer interaction, and high replayability.
2. Create and draw imaginative, high-quality original artwork based on the existing content of MetaDreamStar.
