哈佛大学人类演化生物学家李伯曼(Daniel Lieberman)的著作「天生不爱动：自然史和演化如何破除现代人关于运动与健康的12个迷思」(Exercised：Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding)透过科学研究、人类演化学，分析了12个现代人关于运动与健康的迷思，发现人类并未演化成爱运动，懒惰才符合人类的天性！这可怎么办呢？2018年美国卫生及公共服务部建议每周至少150分钟中强度（或75分钟高强度）有氧运动＋2次重量训练才能达到「显著健康效益」的活动强度(所谓的中强度有氧，指的是最大心率的50%-70%；高强度指的则是最大心率的70%-85%)，我们也常听到「333原则」一周3次，每次30分钟的运动，才能达到效果。运动是最好的防疫，除了戴口罩、勤洗手、保持社交距离，透过维持运动习惯，养成身体免疫力，才是后疫情时代每个人都必须做好的功课。

Affected by the outbreak of COVID-19, global health promotion and physical activities have been greatly impacted. Therefore, thinking about how to balance epidemic prevention with people's quality of life, maintaining and ensuring the achievement of sustainable development goals in the post-epidemic era has become a new topic of global health promotion. After COVID-19, the public policies of some countries also changed. For example, the United Kingdom widened the sidewalks and footpaths to increase the opportunities for people to exercise more, and they did not need to squeeze buses or MRTS. In 2021, a survey on the current situation of national sports in Taiwan found that the COVID-19 epidemic made people pay more attention to their health, and the proportion of people who regularly exercise reached a new high, rising to 33.9%; Affected by the epidemic, the public has changed their sports patterns, and the proportion of people exercising at home has increased from 9% last year to 15.3%. Many enterprises have also begun to promote how to integrate sports into their daily life to form "good sports habits", making sports match with nutritious meals to "eat to a good health", introducing sports instructors or professional coaches to create "epidemic prevention physical education classes", and combining digital technology to let employees become their own "health investigators".
Daniel Lieberman, a human evolutionary biologist of Harvard University, wrote the book Exercised: Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding analyzes 12 modern myths about exercise and health through scientific research, human evolution, and he finds that humans have not evolved to be physically active. Laziness is in keeping with human nature! What can we do? In 2018, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommended at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity (or 75 minutes of high intensity) aerobic exercise + 2 times of weight training sessions per week to achieve "significant health benefits" of activity intensity (the so-called moderate intensity aerobic refers to 50%-70% of maximum heart rate; high intensity refers to 70%-85% of maximum heart rate). We also often hear that the "333 principle" can be achieved only by exercising for 30 minutes three times a week. Exercise is the best protection against the epidemic. In addition to wearing masks, washing hands regularly, keeping social distance, maintaining exercise habits and building body immunity are the lessons everyone must do in the post-epidemic era.
