Dr. Park Jisun is a special professor at the Center of Public Design in Sangmyung University. She is also a Co-Researcher and Art Program Curating Consultant at industry-academic cooperation of Hongik University under National Research Foundation of Korea.

Xiaoyang Yu

Xiaoyang Yu, the research interests include virtual production, digital costumes, and film and television special effects.She studied at Savannah College of Art and Design (USA) and worked at Ingenuity Studios and Ayzenberg Group in Hollywood from 2017-2019 as a 3D designer. She is currently working in Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology as an animation teacher in the School of Art and Design.

Topic Description

Digital Fashion is the visual representation of clothing built using computer technologies and 3D software. This industry is on the rise due to ethical awareness and uses of digital fashion technology such as artificial intelligence to create products with complex social and technical software.Digital fashion is also the interplay between digital technology and couture. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have been deeply integrated both into the fashion industry, as well as within the experience of clients and prospects. The fashion industry in general has paved the way for digital fashion to be introduced with more technology being in the industry like virtual dressing rooms and the gamification of the fashion industry. The conversations around the metaverse and fashion are multi-layered. On one end, there is the sustainability factor: brands can reduce their waste by producing clothing digitally. With digital fashion, we can experience fashion in its purest form, devoid of functional barriers.

于晓洋

曾就读于美国萨凡纳艺术设计学院(Savannah College of Art and Design)影视特效专业,2017-2019工作于好莱坞影视特效公司Ingenuity Studios和Ayzenberg Group公司,担任3D设计师。目前工作于北京服装学院,担任艺术设计学院动画专业教师。
