工作坊群课题说明

《食物本草》这部源于明代的著名药典,蕴含了丰富的的历史和文化内涵,是中国中医文化的重要组成部分。在当代社会,通过将数字时尚与食物本草相结合,形成了探讨中国传统食物文化与生活关系的重要主题。通过基于数字和虚拟媒介的探索,实现知识可视化、交互与传播、设计与创新等方面的发展,不仅可以使古老的本草知识得以传承,而且能让更多人深入了解食物与生活之间的紧密联系。这种创新的方式将提高食物本草的传播效率,并增强公众对传统食物文化的感知度。

上课形式

以线上形式为主,暂定部分内容会在北京服装学院校内线下进行。选报工作坊但不能线下参与的同学,也可以通过线上方式同步学习。此外,各工作坊具体辅导周期和时间将由组内老师们协调后确定,达到参与最大化。

The Food Materia Medica, a famous pharmacopoeia originating from the Ming Dynasty, is rich in historical and cultural connotations, and is an important part of Chinese traditional medicine culture. In contemporary society, by combining digital fashion with Food Materia Medica, it forms an important theme to explore the relationship between traditional Chinese food culture and life. Through the exploration based on digital and virtual media, the development of knowledge visualisation, interaction and dissemination, design and innovation will not only enable the inheritance of the ancient knowledge of food materia medica, but also provide more people with an in-depth understanding of the close connection between food and life. This innovative approach will increase the efficiency of food herb dissemination and enhance public perception of traditional food culture.

Topic Description

Food Materia Medica is an important pharmacopoeia of the Ming Dynasty, which contains rich historical and cultural connotations, shows the ancient dietetic culture and lifestyle, and also reflects the ancients' understanding of the harmonious coexistence of nature and the human body. In contemporary society, with the development of science and technology and culture, Food Materia Medica has gradually become an important topic for researching and discussing the relationship between traditional Chinese dietary culture and life.

This workshop aims to explore and disseminate traditional Chinese food therapy culture through digital and virtual media. We hope to achieve the development of knowledge visualization, interaction and dissemination, design and innovation, etc., so that the knowledge of Food Materia Medica can be passed on, and more people can understand the close connection between diet therapy and life. This innovative approach will improve the efficiency of dissemination of Food Materia Medica and enhance public awareness of traditional food culture.

In the workshop, each research group will conduct research and practice around Food Materia Medica, and work together to complete the output of digital fashion content from the two dimensions of "science popularization narrative" and "product derivation". The task is dedicated to creating an innovative ecology of cross-border integration, promoting the modernization and globalization of the traditional cultural resource Food Materia Medica, and contributing to the construction of a digital fashion culture with Chinese characteristics.

Mainly in online, tentative part of the content will be held offline in Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Students who choose to apply for the workshop but cannot participate offline can also study online simultaneously. In addition, the specific counseling cycle and time of each workshop will be determined by the teachers in the group after coordination to maximize participation.

As part of Digital Fashion Workshop Groups, this project will focus on the Food Materia Medica as the main theme and will relate this topic to the sense of space in fashion perspective. The harmonious coexistence of nature and the human body, also its richness in history and culture, will bring the important aspects to the design concept. This project will be a platform for students to develop further understanding on how to interlace space and fashion show/product into virtual environment. The mixture of reality and imagination will be another direction that can be explored as well. Students will explore and discover their interpretation of the topic and develop their concept, until they can represent their ideas into final outcomes.
